We pay referral fees to licensed real estate brokers. We pay the fee and discuss the amount with each referring broker individually based on the type of referral and the work involved with the transaction. We have even been known to assist other brokers with transactions such as HUD sales wherein we broker the deal (because the other brokerage is/was not set up to broker HUD transactions), but share the fee with the other brokerage to assist in knowledge sharing with other real estate professionals.
